The Background

Born and raised in Queensbury, New York, Kolin built his career in luxury hospitality, where he learned that the best service often happens before someone ever has to ask.

Through guest services, concierge, and leadership roles at Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, The Sagamore Resort on Lake George, and Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa, he gained experience ranging from direct guest service to restructuring operations, establishing standards, and training and leading teams.

That combination of hospitality and leadership is what Kolin brings to EMBR: turning great service into a standard an entire team can consistently deliver.

The Standard

Trained in Five-Star luxury hospitality service standards, Kolin brings the principles of luxury hospitality into an entirely different environment: performance training.

As Member Experience Director, he oversees the member journey beyond the workout itself; from the first time someone walks through the doors and their onboarding experience to daily interactions, events, feedback, and milestone moments.

His approach is built around the details that are easy to overlook but difficult to forget: knowing someone's name, understanding what they're working toward, recognizing progress, anticipating a need, and making every interaction feel intentional.

At EMBR, the standard doesn't stop at the training floor. The same thought and attention that goes into the programming, equipment, and facility should go into how every member is treated.

Train at a higher standard. Be served at one, too.

The Vision

Kolin's vision is to make EMBR a place where performance and hospitality coexist.

He's building the systems, protocols, and team culture that allow EMBR to grow without losing the personal experience that makes a community feel different. Members shouldn't simply feel like they belong to a gym; they should feel known, valued, and connected to it.

The goal is to bring a level of service rarely associated with the fitness industry to the everyday training experience, creating something that feels distinctly EMBR from the moment someone walks in.

A serious place to train. An exceptional place to belong.
